SCWC 2026 Poetry Award Workshop

Poet Ali Jane Smith leads a poetry workshop responding to Kate Mitchell's Set States exhibition exploring states of mind, states of action, states of play, states of being.
Participants will read and discuss examples of poetry that responds to both art and artist as a springboard for inspiring their own new works of poetry. This workshop will include a 30-minute tour of Set States.

- 12.45 - 1.15pm: Tour the Set States exhibition
- 1.15 - 2.45: Poetry Workshop
This workshop is designed alongside the South Coast Writers Centre 2026 Poetry Award.
