The Friends Gallery

The Friends Gallery is located using the western stairs, between the second and third floors of the Gallery building. It is named in honour of the Friends of Wollongong Art Gallery.

This small balcony space overlooks the grand BlueScope Steel Gallery and provides a perfect view to appreciate the room's unique mid-century architecture.

This exhibition space is often used to display works from the Gallery's permanent collection, or as part of visiting exhibitions featured in the BlueScope Gallery.

Please note, unfortunately this space is not accessible by lift.
