Illawarra Community Collector's Conference

Do you have a grandma with an epic collection of kitty crockery, or a stamp album under your bed that goes back to the invention of post? If so, now is the time to give your favourite collection its much-deserved spotlight. Join us for the Community Collectors Conference! Inspired by Patrick Pound’s incredible found-photo collections we are inviting a presentation of collections from the community.

Illawarra collectors are invited to apply to present their collections in either PowerPoint or Poster form.

PowerPoint presenters will have 10 minutes to present on their collections. Presentations will start at 1pm. Poster presenters will be provided with one easel and one table – set up will be at 12pm.

A guest judge will crown the winning Illawarra Community Collector at the end of the day.

Please email your application to gallery@wollongong.nsw.gov.au by the 12^th of September 2025 and include “Illawarra Community Collector’s Conference” in the title of your email.
