Steel City Strings presents Suite Music, a vibrant program showcasing the colour and versatility of the string orchestra. The concert features Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Puccini’s Crisantemi, John Rutter’s Suite for Strings and Ann Carr-Boyd’s lively Fandango for Strings. Acclaimed French horn soloist Michael Dixon joins the orchestra for Haydn’s Horn Concerto No. 1.

Moving from Baroque-inspired elegance through Romantic lyricism to contemporary Australian colour, this program offers an engaging experience of live chamber music.
