Join us for a panel talk on Community Water Maintenance in the Illawarra facilitated by Monty Hancock and with special guests Ali Jane Smith and Isabelle Ghetti.

This panel talk speaks to the themes in Karla Dickens: Rise and Fall which calls communities to action regarding the care of water on Country.

Facilitating this panel is local artist Monty Hancock, whose work researches the role of water in communities. Also in conversation is Ali Jane Smith, a local artist and poet involved in various community and solo studies of water maintenance through her own research and in activist organisations such as Protect Our Water Alliance, and Isabelle Ghetti who is the Environment Planning Manager at Wollongong Council. Ghetti has a long history of working with fresh and saltwater bodies through science and local government.
