Community Access Gallery

Our Community Access Gallery is a space that can be hired to showcase work by local and regional artists, or community groups.

Located on the top floor of the Gallery, this space surrounds the impressive central atrium of the building.

Make this creative space your own and have your work displayed for all visitors to enjoy!

Hire details

This space is available to hire, the hire package includes:

  • 1 month hire period for $600 (including installation/deinstallation)
  • 2 month hire period for $900 (including installation/deinstallation)
  • Open to public viewing during normal Gallery opening hours
  • Lift and stair access to the exhibition space
  • Cables and installation equipment
  • For your exhibition opening and launch you will have access to; the adjoining room, three staff members and PA equipment, tables, tablecloths, and glassware.

To apply to exhibit in the Community access Gallery:

  2. Download and complete the Community Access Gallery exhibition application form PDF, 59.78 KB
  3. Prepare email-suitable images of your proposed works (do not send physical artworks with your application)
  4. Email us your completed application and images.

All applications will be assessed in line with the Gallery and Wollongong City Council's social and community values.
