Our Place in the Suburbs Enrichment Program
Students will take part in a guided tour exploring Nicci Bedson’s nostalgic paintings of suburban life in Ballad of the Burbs, alongside Transience Atlas by Rob Howe and the Edge City Collection exhibition. The tour will conclude with a short Q&A session with Nicci Bedson.
In a hands-on workshop, students will design their own house-inspired artwork using colour, pattern, and texture, drawing on Bedson’s style. The day will finish with a personal painting activity, where students create a canvas artwork of their own bedroom, celebrating the beauty of everyday spaces.
